On May 20, 2025, the comment period began for the proposal to reissue an Arizona Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (AZPDES) general permit, authorizing stormwater discharges associated with construction activities to Waters of the U.S. The proposed permit is intended to replace permit AZG2020-001. The comment period has been extended and now ends July 21, 2025.
