On May 30, 2025, the comment period begins for the proposed Coal Combustion Residuals (CCR) permits licensing time frames rulemaking. The comment period ends July 2, 2025.

This rulemaking proposes licensing time frames for CCR permits as required by Arizona Revised Statutes (A.R.S.) § 41-1072 et seq. ADEQ has finalized rules that allow ADEQ to operate a CCR permitting program for Arizona (Notice of Final Rulemaking published April 25, 2025).
