On May 27, 2022, the public comment period begins for the Conditional No Further Action (CNFA) determination for the Adair Memorial Park Archery Range Voluntary Remediation Program (VRP) Site located in Yuma County, Arizona. The comment period ends July 12, 2022.
Public Notice Information
The CNFA requests closure for soil by using institutional and engineering controls defined in a forthcoming Declaration of Environmental Use Restriction. The CNFA was submitted in accordance with Arizona Revised Statutes §§ 49-176 and 49-181.

The Site covers approximately 24 acres on property owned by Yuma County, located in Yuma, Arizona. The Site is currently used as an archery range. The site once contained a silver ore processing facility. Contaminants of concern are lead residues in soil that was used in the processed historic ore tailings that were discarded on site.
