PUBLIC NOTICE | Remedial Action Work Plan Available for Clifton Soil Program VRP Site in Greenlee County

ADEQ has received a Remedial Action Work Plan (the RAWP) for the Clifton Soil Program VRP site (VRP Site Code 513293-00), located in Clifton, Arizona. The RAWP addresses remediation of soil and was submitted in accordance with Arizona Revised Statutes § 49-175 and § 176.

The Clifton Soil Program VRP site consists of soil testing and remediation on eligible residential and commercial properties located in an area of Clifton, Arizona. Contaminants of concern at the site are arsenic, copper and lead. The RAWP provides details on soil removal, replacement, and landscape restoration on properties where soil testing has shown metal concentrations exceeding risk-based cleanup levels.
