Forecast Discussion:

The Douglas area got a little rain yesterday, but most of the rain stayed to the west. A little rain is better than nothing and particulate levels are running lower this morning as a result. There will be slight chances for more rain today, then higher chances over the weekend as another low pressure system moves through the area. The good ventilation and rain associated with the low pressure system should easily be enough to keep particulate levels low. Overall, we are forecasting PM10 to stay in the Good AQI range through the forecast period. Particulates will slowly begin trending up early next week as conditions dry out, but we don't expect to reach Moderate levels anytime soon.
