Forecast Discussion:

There were more showers and thunderstorms in the area yesterday, which is helping to keep particulate levels quite low. There will continue to be chances for showers into the weekend, but we expected them to be much more isolated and we don't expect rainfall amounts to be as high. By the start of next week, we expect conditions to be too dry for anymore showers and storms. As for air quality, the soils should be stable from the recent rain, which should prevent particulate concentrations from getting too high. We do forecast particulate levels to increase a little through the forecast period as weather conditions settle down and dry out. However, both PM10 and PM2.5 are forecast to stay in the Good AQI category through the forecast period.
