PUBLIC NOTICE | Proposal to Issue Air Quality Control Renewal Permit for EZ Mine in Mohave County
ADEQ proposes to issue Air Quality Control Renewal Permit Number 88789 to Energy Fuels Resources (USA) Inc. for the construction and operation of its underground uranium mine – EZ Mine, located 36 miles Southwest of Fredonia, Arizona. The facility is subject to the requirements of the Federal Clean Air Act, Code of Federal Regulations, Arizona Revised Statute 49-426, and the Arizona Administrative Code, Title 18, Chapter 2. The facility emits the following air contaminants: Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), Nitrogen Oxides (NOx), Carbon Monoxide (CO), Particulate Matter (PM), Sulfur Dioxide (SO2), Lead (Pb) and Hazardous Air Pollutants (HAPs).
