Public Notices | 20th Street and Factor Avenue WQARF Site O&M Plan

ADEQ has prepared an early response action (ERA) work plan/operation and maintenance (O&M) plan for the enhanced reductive dechlorination (ERD) injection remedial alternative proposed for the 20th Street and Factor Avenue Water Quality Assurance Revolving Fund (WQARF) site in Yuma, Ariz. [Arizona Administrative Code R18-16-411(E)]. The proposed remedy will reduce the highest concentrations and begin efforts to protect down gradient wells.

The 20th Street and Factor Avenue WQARF site consists of a groundwater contaminant plume located in Yuma County. The plume is bounded approximately by 17th Street to the north, 21st Street to the south, Kennedy Lane to the east and Fourth Avenue to the west. Contaminants of concern at the site are PCE (tetrachloroethene), TCE (trichloroethene) and cyanide.
