PUBLIC NOTICE | Notice of Availability 20th Street and Factor Avenue WQARF Site Feasibility Study

ADEQ has completed the feasibility study (FS) for the 20th Street and Factor Avenue Water Quality Assurance Revolving Fund (WQARF) site in Yuma, Ariz. An FS is conducted to identify a reference remedy and alternative remedies that appear capable of achieving established remedial objectives. The FS also evaluates remedies based on comparison criteria in order to make a selection.

The 20th Street and Factor Avenue WQARF site consists of a plume located in Yuma. The plume is bounded approximately by 17th Street to the north, 21st Street to the south, Kennedy Lane to the east and 4th Avenue to the west.

Kennedy Lane to the east and 4th Avenue to the west. Contaminants of concern at the site are: Tetrachloroethene (PCE), trichloroethene (TCE), 1, 1-dichloroethene (1, 1-DCE) and cyanide.
