Site Summary:
- A Site Characterization Report (SCR), including a Human Health Risk Assessment (HHRA) and a Screening Level Ecological Risk Assessment (SLERA), was submitted to ADEQ in June 2019
- ADEQ completed a review on the SCR/HHRA/SLERA in August 2019
- A meeting was held on Sept. 13, 2019, for ADEQ and the Volunteer to discuss comments on the SCR/HHRA/SLERA. The Volunteer addressed these comments and submitted a revised SCR/HHRA/SLERA on Feb. 21, 2020. ADEQ submitted final comments to the Volunteer on March 31, 2020
- ADEQ received the final SCR/HHRA/SLERA on April 17, 2020 and conditionally approved the document on May 6, 2020
- Final approval of the SCR/HHRA/SLERA was issued on September 1, 2020 after completing a 45-day public comment period for the SCR/HHRA/SLERA and a concurrent comment period for a Request for a Conditional No Further Action determination
- The Conditional No Further Action determination will be issued upon recording of a Declaration of Environmental Use Restriction for the site. The determination is expected to be issued in the first quarter of 2021
