Site Summary:

  • A mine shaft was sealed and capped to help prevent infiltration of surface water into the historic mine workings
  • Two adits were sealed with bulkheads to contain and control mine influenced water (MIA)
  • A passive treatment system (PTS) is in operation to remediate MIA
  • All site features are inspected on a quarterly basis with a semi-annual reporting schedule
  • The latest semi-annual report was submitted in March 2023
