PUBLIC NOTICE | Work Plan Available for US Border Patrol Former Pistol Range VRP Site
ADEQ has received a work plan for the U.S. Border Patrol Former Pistol Range VRP site. The work plan proposes excavating contaminated soil for proper disposal and was submitted in accordance with Arizona Revised Statutes (A.R.S.) § 49-175 and § 176. The U.S. Border Patrol Former Pistol Range VRP site consists of a half-acre former pistol range located in Nogales, Ariz. Contaminants of concern at the site are lead, arsenic, antimony, and polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbons.
