Public Notice | Call for Comments on 2016 Draft Clean Water Act Assessment
ADEQ invites stakeholders to review and provide comments on its Draft 2016 Clean Water Act Assessment. ADEQ's Draft 2016 Clean Water Act Assessment describes the water quality of Arizona’s streams and lakes. It determines whether a water can be used safely for drinking water, recreation, fish consumption, irrigation, and/or livestock watering, and whether it protects both aquatic life and wildlife.
ADEQ's Draft 2016 Clean Water Act Assessment now is available for formal public comment.
Public Comment Period
The 45-day formal public comment period begins Mon., June 13, 2016 and ends Thurs., July 28, 2016.

Comments Deadline and Next Steps
Submit your comments to ADEQ no later than July 28, 2016. Shortly after the close of the public comment period, ADEQ will publish a response to comments in the Arizona Administrative Register.
