On-site Wastewater Advisory Committee

Call for Membership Nominations

 

The Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) is establishing
an On-site Wastewater Advisory Committee (OWAC) to advise the department
on the implementation of its on-site wastewater treatment facility
program. 

 

ADEQ is seeking nominations of qualified individuals to serve on the
OWAC.  The OWAC will consist of up to 15 members appointed by ADEQ's
Director for two year terms. 

 

Appointed board members will each represent one or more of the following
on-site community stakeholder groups:

 

1.      Pumpers

2.      Installers

3.      Designers

4.      Manufactures

5.      Notice of Transfer Inspectors (qualified per A.A.C. R18-9-A316
(B))

6.      Supplier/Venders

7.      Realtors

8.      Educators/Academics

9.      Regulators

10.  Service/Operation and Maintenance Providers

11.  Site and Soils Investigators (qualified per A.A.C. R18-9-A310 (H))

 

Nominations received on or before October 14th, 2011 will be considered
for OWAC membership. 

 

Nominations should include a resume or curriculum vitae listing relevant
professional qualifications. All nominations must include the current
contact information of the nominee, including address, phone number and
e-mail address.
