Synopsis and Discussion
A near perfect weekend is in store for the Valley of the Sun weather-wise. Mostly light winds, plenty of sunshine and afternoon highs in the mid 70s can be expected. Further warming will take place next week as high pressure strengthens over the weekend. Temperatures could reach the mid 80s next Tuesday through Friday. No rain is forecast for the Phoenix area for at least the next 7 to 10 days, giving residents a much-need break to do some outdoor yard work.

Air quality levels should continue to be fairly low. Ozone concentrations could begin to inch closer the "Moderate" range the next several days as the sun angle continues to increase and winds remain light. Otherwise, it should be a very enjoyable weekend.

Check back on Sunday for next week's weather and air quality outlook. Until then, have a great weekend! -J.Paul
