Synopsis and Discussion
Valley air pollutant concentrations have all been in the good range of the Air Quality Index for 22 straight days now - with more days to come. A long-wave trough in the mid-latitude storm track is developing over the western U.S. At least two more embedded disturbances in the flow will move from the northwest over AZ - one on Tuesday and another on Thursday. This will keep unsettled, unusually cool, and breezy to windy conditions in the Valley thru this forecast period - and the local air quality will remain super.
