Synopsis and Discussion
More clouds and scattered showers moved through parts of the Valley
Tuesday morning. This system is currently centered over southern
Nevada, so the chance for more showers will continue through early
Wednesday. As the disturbance moves east, high pressure will return for
short stay Wednesday afternoon through early Saturday, allowing
afternoon desert temperatures to reach the upper 70s. The next shot of
unsettled weather will come as early as next Sunday. Particulates for
the most part dropped into the Good range. Some unusually high values
were recorded overnight at the Buckeye monitor, causing the 24-hr
concentration for Monday to be "Moderate". We could see these levels
remain relatively low through the rest of the workweek, increasing
slightly heading into Saturday. Check back tomorrow for any changes.
Have good day! -J.Paul
