Forecast Discussion:

There is more to talk about this forecast period weather-wise! Two back-to-back disturbances are looking to sweep across Arizona from the Pacific Northwest. The first will occur tomorrow into Wednesday, where the main impacts will consist of slightly cooler temperatures, breezy winds, and a chance of snow/rainfall. Then Thursday into Friday, the second trough will graze through Arizona and cause a greater chance of snowfall to occur. Majority of snow accumulation will take place with the second system but should only be around half an inch.

Although snow is not the only major event coming through this week, breezy winds are also associated with both systems. Afternoon breezes on Tuesday could range between 15-20 mph, with higher gusts possible. In addition, wind speeds Thursday through Friday will range between 20-30 mph, with higher gusts possible.

Overall, ozone should have no problem remaining in the Good AQI category this forecast period.

Have a great day!
