Notice: Pursuant to the Clean Water Act and in accordance with Arizona Administrative Code (AAC) R18-9-A907, the ADEQ Director proposes to issue an Arizona Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (AZPDES) Permit to discharge pollutants to waters of the U.S. to the following applicant, subject to certain effluent limitations and special conditions:

Arizona Minerals Inc. applied for a new AZPDES permit for the proposed discharge of up to 0.172  million gallons per day (mgd) of treated water consisting of mine drainage and tailings seepage from the January Mine Water Treatment Plant to Alum Gulch in the Santa Cruz River Basin in Township 23 S, Range 16 E, Section 5, in Santa Cruz County, Ariz.
