What are My Health Risks:

For Soil | There is little to no health risk unless there is contact with skin or ingestion of contaminated soil
For Groundwater | If you are connected to a Public Water System (PWS) there is little to no risk of impact from this site, because the water is filtered through the PWS for residential and business use | View Drinking Water Notices > 

Site Summary:

  • Soil and groundwater investigations, source control and free product removal completed to address VOCs and hexavalent chromium
  • The site is in the monitoring phase with annual reporting. Semi-annual updates are provided to the agency in between the annual reporting events. The most recent Annual Report was received on March 11, 2020, and approved by ADEQ
  • ADEQ met with the Volunteer on April 29, 2020, to review site status and discuss ideas for potentially optimizing the current remedy of monitored natural attenuation (MNA)
  • A plan to propose a reduced well monitoring network and evaluate optimizing the current remedial approach is slated for submittal in the fourth quarter of 2020
