Notice: Pursuant to the Clean Water Act and in accordance with Arizona Administrative Code (AAC) R18-9-A907, the ADEQ Director proposes to issue an Arizona Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (AZPDES) Permit to discharge pollutants to waters of the U.S. to the following applicant, subject to certain effluent limitations and special conditions:

Alpine Sanitary District applied for a new AZPDES permit for the proposed discharge of up to 0.077 million gallons per day (mgd) of treated domestic wastewater from the Alpine Sanitary District WWT Ponds to the San Francisco River in the Upper Gila River Basin in Township 5N, Range 30E, Section 11, in Apache County, Ariz. Alpine Sanitary District WWT Ponds is a publicly owned treatment works that receives domestic wastewater from residential and commercial sources in Alpine, Ariz.
