Forecast Discussion:

There wasn't much change in air quality from the previous couple days. Ozone levels stayed in the mid Moderates, while PM10 and PM2.5 remained in the Good category yesterday. Looking ahead, we still don't expect any major changes. We are forecasting winds to be a little more out of the south the next couple days. This may result in slightly lower ozone levels due to less influence from California. Saturday is forecast to have the highest ozone levels due fairly light westerly winds. Overall though, we are forecasting ozone to stay in the Moderate AQI range through the forecast period.

As for particulates, there will be breezy afternoon winds at times. However, we don't expect the winds to be strong enough for any significant dust. Therefore, we are forecasting PM10 and PM2.5 to stay in the Good AQI range through the forecast period.
